On March 12th, Bittnet (BNET) in collaboration with Amazon Web Services organized in Bucharest the 4th edition of AWSome Day, an event dedicated to the engineers and managers from the IT&C industry interested in cloud computing technologies. The event was attended by a record amount of more than 400 local IT professionals.
AWSome Day is a regional initiative of Amazon Web Services (AWS) that is organized on a yearly basis in Bucharest by Bittnet Training, the IT training market leader in Romania. Bittnet Training is Amazon’s exclusive partner and the only AWS authorized training partner in Romania while Dendrio, a Bittnet company, is AWS’s consulting partner. AWSome Day is a free-of-charge, one-day introductory training event on cloud computing delivered by AWS technical instructors all over the world. It is a technical programme covering AWS foundational services that allows the participants to explore topics like cost optimization, security and compliance as well as lets them find out first-hand about best practices and customer experience cases.
Mihai Logofătu, CEO of Bittnet Group, opened the event together with Dan Leonte, Territory Manager at Amazon Web Services. The majority of technical presentations throughout the day were led by Bittnet’s Alexandru Costescu.
